Azharul Haque is the Founder & Executive Director of the Family Development Foundation of Canada (FDF Canada). He is a dedicated community leader, social advocate, and visionary committed to strengthening families, empowering communities, and fostering social development across Canada. With a strong passion for community service and human development, Azharul established FDF Canada with the belief that positive families are the foundation of a strong, prosperous, and compassionate society. His vision is to create an organization that serves as a bridge between individuals, families, newcomers, and community resources, helping people overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. As Executive Director, he provides strategic leadership and direction for the organization, overseeing governance, community partnerships, program development, fundraising initiatives, organizational growth, and stakeholder engagement. He works closely with community leaders, volunteers, professionals, and partner organizations to ensure that FDF Canada delivers meaningful and sustainable programs that address the evolving needs of Canadian families and diverse communities. Under his leadership, FDF Canada strives to promote family well-being, newcomer integration, youth development, mental health awareness, education, community engagement, and social inclusion. He strongly believes that investing in families and communities creates lasting positive change that benefits future generations. Azharul is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, commitment to integrity, and dedication to building strong relationships within the community. His approach is guided by the values of compassion, respect, inclusion, accountability, and service. Through his leadership, he aims to establish FDF Canada as a trusted and impactful organization that contributes to building stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger Canada.
Razib Ahammad serves as the Director of Administration & Digital Services at the Family Development Foundation of Canada (FDF Canada). He brings a combination of business, technology, digital communications, and organizational management experience to support the Foundation's mission of strengthening families and building stronger communities. In his role, Razib oversees administrative systems, digital operations, organizational communications, website development, and technology initiatives. He is dedicated to improving organizational effectiveness through innovation, transparency, and strategic planning while ensuring that FDF Canada remains accessible, responsive, and connected to the communities it serves. He believes that modern technology, effective administration, and strong leadership can help nonprofit organizations create meaningful and sustainable social impact.
Kabir Hossain serves as the Director (Technical) at the Family Development Foundation of Canada (FDF Canada). He is an accomplished social work and community development professional with more than 20 years of experience in managing poverty alleviation, social development, and humanitarian programs with internationally recognized organizations. Educated and professionally trained in both Canada and Bangladesh, Kabir has worked with leading international development organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme and CARE International. His extensive expertise includes project management, program implementation, operational systems, community development, and organizational capacity building. Currently serving with the City of Toronto, Kabir supports vulnerable and homeless individuals by helping them access essential services and opportunities. At FDF Canada, he provides technical leadership and strategic guidance to strengthen organizational systems, improve program effectiveness, and support sustainable community initiatives. Driven by a deep commitment to social justice and human dignity, Kabir is passionate about empowering individuals and families to become self-reliant and achieve their full potential.
Nabina Khanom serves as the Director (Programs) at the Family Development Foundation of Canada (FDF Canada). She is committed to designing, coordinating, and delivering impactful community programs that strengthen families, support newcomers, and promote social well-being across diverse communities. In her role, Nabina oversees the planning and implementation of educational workshops, family support initiatives, youth engagement activities, cultural events, and community outreach programs. She works closely with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure that FDF Canada's programs are responsive, inclusive, and beneficial to those they serve. She believes that strong programs create opportunities for learning, empowerment, and connection. Through compassion, collaboration, and community engagement, she is dedicated to helping individuals and families build brighter futures and stronger communities throughout Canada.
